Book Report #217 Nine Strangers

Nine Perfect Strangers by Liane Moriarty

The author of Big Little Lies brings us the story of nine people at a luxury wellness retreat in rural Australia during a hot summer. We get insight into each guest's experience, and it's the literary gossip we've come to love from Moriarty.

There's something not quite right simmering under the surface which eventually explodes into delightful insanity. The book was totally unhinged, and everyone let their freak flags fly. I had so much fun reading it, I think my face probably looked like a dog with its head out of a car window.

General consensus: Big, crazy, well-written fun.
