I've said for five books now that I don't actually like Harry Potter but I'm compelled to read everything about him. I've also said that I think the books are the picture of evil on some level because of the Dementors (they suck out your soul) and Voldemort who sucks on the silver blood of unicorns to regain his strength, among other things.
Now I recant. I retract every negative statement I've made about Harry Potter. It may be because before I read this installment I was reading The Traveler, which was a ghastly display of writing. Rowling can write! I'm inspired.
It would be an irresponsible disservice to delve into the content of The Half-Blood Prince here since I'm sure many have not had a chance to read it yet. I'll just leave it at it's absolutely riveting and will make you gasp with both surprise and delight. Ron, Hermione and Harry sure grew up fast!
Time to read cover to cover: 1 week, including 2 miserable days when I accidentally left it at the lake
General consensus: Another delightful Harry adventure.
