The Whistler by John Grisham
Another legal thriller. This one is about a crooked judge who is in bed with a gang who basically runs an Indian casino. It's the biggest gem in their portfolio of real estate ventures. The corruption is rampant, and the gang will go to great lengths to cover it up. But now there's a whistler who is scared but determined.
General consensus: The writing isn't great but it keeps you captivated. It was a fun ride.
