Book Report #87 - No One Belongs Here More Than You

No One Belongs Here More Than You: Stories by Miranda July

This book of short stories is certainly well-written. It pays homage to those neurotic thoughts we have that we think are so unique. It is engrossing even if it makes the reader uncomfortable.

I found the sexual theme of it to be a little out of my comfort zone and it left me wondering if that's the way life is or if it's just the way this book is. When I closed the book I felt the same way I did at the end of Running with Scissors--sad, empty and like I wanted to heave into a toilet.

General consensus: A sure-fire hit for people who are nothing like me.
