Gilbert takes us through a year after her divorce when she spends four months in Italy, four months in an Ashram in India and four months in Bali. It's full of magic. Her honesty is absolutely refreshing. She manages to be completely approachable while doing awe-inspiring things and changes your life in the process.
I cannot believe I have to wait a whole year for the sequel. My first reaction when I read that in the back of the book was, "NO! I need it now!!"
General consensus: You ever read a great book and then you read some ho-hum ones and you start wondering if there are any more good ones out there and then you suddenly find one and you want to tell everyone you know how great it was? That's kind of what this is like.
